This delicate wild flower grows in mossy woodland and decaying tree stumps. The new leaves are bright green and similar to clover, but grow close to the ground. They can be hard to find if hidden in undergrowth. This one was on a mossy old stump in Hertfordshire. It is a wild oxalis and not very common.
