Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly on Marjoram
Small tortoiseshell butterfly feeding on marjoram in July. It is good to see these as they are not as common as they used to be when I was a child. The caterpillars feed on nettles so always leave a patch in the sun in the garden to encourage them.
