Spring prunus blossom being visited by bumble bee. The blossom was humming with many bees. There were bumbles of assorted sizes and honey bees. The sound was wonderful.
A boy on his way home from school grabbed a low branch and buried his nose in the blossom. I thought he was going to pull off all the petals, but instead he turned to me and asked,"What is this?" I told him. He couldn't smell the scent, but continued on his way home. How wonderful to keep the childhood delight in nature. Mugs and prints to order. Please ask.
